The Environmental Assurance Specialist, will be responsible for ensuring that our clients comply with regulatory requirements and best practices related to environmental management. Will assess and mitigate environmental risks, develop and implement environmental management systems, and provide technical expertise and guidance to clients. Specific tasks include: conduct environmental audits and inspections to assess compliance with environmental regulations and standards; develop, implement, and maintain environmental management systems; provide technical support and expertise on environmental matters to clients; identify and evaluate environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them; prepare environmental impact assessments and develop plans to minimize environmental impacts; stay up-to-date with environmental regulations and industry best practices; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective environmental management; prepare reports and documentation related to environmental compliance; conduct training and education sessions on environmental topics for clients and staff; monitor environmental performance and recommend improvements; contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives.
Requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental management or environmental consulting;
- Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and best practices;
- Experience conducting environmental audits and inspections;
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required;
- Proven ability to develop and implement environmental management systems;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Proficiency in using environmental assessment and management tools;
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
- Availability to travel to client sites as required.
