Our Client is a multinational company operating in the energy sector.
FUNCTION
The main activities of the position are to liaises with partner entities and participates to the processes of contracts and procurement entity; work closely with the DUET to create the contracts dossier, develop a clear definition of contractual responsibilities and discuss the agenda; liaise with C&P Methods/planning/market and C&P Manager for reporting and statistics matters; keep informed of best practices in contracts procedures for improvement of contracts practices; prepare and maintain an up-to-date list of qualified contractors/suppliers/potential tenders/contracts with updated information in order to perform market studies; analyze and assess all possible answers from the market; participate to the validation of the contracts strategy; conduct the Terms & Conditions bid analysis and negotiation; conduct the commercial bid analysis and negotiation thereby creating a clear definition of responsibilities and documents together with the DUET; participate in recommendations to award through contracts committees or DOA award validation and tracing of tender documents; input all contracts/suppliers data/documents in the contracts and suppliers database; monitor on- with the Duet; be in constant alignment with H3SE company rules, procedures, instructions and applicable legislation; take the necessary measures to avert immediate threat of danger, exercising caution as necessary to avoid danger to persons and installations; to manage procurement processes delivering best quality in time and at the optimal cost; to participate in the improvement of procurement practices; to successfully prepare, negotiate and administer a broad range of complex, technical and high value/risk purchases.
- Diploma in a relevant area;
- Professional experience of 4 to 8 years with exposure on operations;
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in technical contracts domain;
- Intermediate level in Purchasing Technical Competencies is required;
- C&P tools advanced certification is required;
- Good command of English language is required;
- Advanced Management skills;
- Advanced Human Relations skills;
- Problem Solving and Planning / organizing / coordinating / controlling skills;
- General knowledge and understanding of commercial, legal and insurance issues affecting the company in general;
- Customer-oriented, intermediate negotiation skills;
- Good communication skills;
- Organizational skills;
- Capabilities to take workload & work under pressure;
- Able to work in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
